Consistent with the goals of supporting nursing education in District 4, as well as supporting members of the Association, the Inland Empire Nurses’ Association will award six (6) scholarships annually to ADN, undergraduate, RN-BSN, Master’s and PhD nursing students.

Has successfully completed at least one semester in an accredited nursing ADN, BSN or MSN program.

Currently carrying a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the current nursing program.

Demonstrates future commitment as a member of IENA as evidenced in the applicant’s Goal Statement, and in the letters of recommendation.

Financial need may be considered though is not a primary criterion.

Submit a completed, typed Scholarship Application Form to the Scholarship Committee, Inland Empire Nurses’ Association, 222 W. Mission, Suite 231, Spokane, WA, 99201, to be received no later than March 30, 2009. Alternatively, it may be submitted electronically by emailing it to the District office at: iena@aimcomm.net.

Arrange for one typed letter of recommendation from a current faculty member from your school. The letter of recommendation should address your commitment to nursing as a profession to be received by the Scholarship Committee.

Submit a copy of the most current grade report, including cumulative GPA.

Scholarship will be awarded at the annual meeting/banquet in April 2009.
