Rachel is a General Duty Rep for IENA.
Rachel volunteered to serve as the General Duty Representative and was unanimously appointed to the IENA Board of Directors, beginning her term in November 2011.
After studying nursing at Washington State University and obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree, Rachel began working at Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. She has been a pediatric nurse there for three years. Rachel is currently studying to obtain her certification, and in summer 2012 she will hopefully begin the Gonzaga University Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Rachel was born in the Seattle area, but migrated to the Inland Northwest with her family. She enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, soap making, and baking. The distinct four seasons and accompanying activities including bike riding, running, camping, snowboarding, etc. are what Rachel loves best about living in Spokane.
She is looking forward to the opportunity to participate in activities promoting nurses in our community.
