IENA Board Biographies

Nicole Weiss, RN

Nicole formerly served IENA as Nurse Education Director and Scholarship Committee Chair. She is also a former Secretary.


Nicole came to nursing after multiple careers, as her co-workers say, from grave to cradle with lots of other options between the two.


She graduated from Walla Walla Community College in 2007 with her AND, and is currently attending Lewis and Clark State College to finish her bachelors of nursing. Nicole has worked at Pullman Regional Hospital since 2007 as an LD nurse.


Nicole has been serving as chair of her local WSNA unit for the last four years. She is excited to serve as IENA Secretary.


Nicole lives in Moscow, Idaho. She and her husband, David, have three children, Sam, Miriam and Katja who is a student at The Evergreen State College.


Nicole enjoys many activities available in the Inland Northwest including skiing, running, and hiking.
