Kimberly is a Director-at-Large for IENA.
From Kim:
I graduated from Montana State University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. As a new grad, I worked at Deaconess in Billings, MT for a short time, but due to family reasons moved to Spokane. I was hired at Deaconess Medical Center, fell in love with oncology nursing, and began my leadership career as well.
During my 7 1/2 years of employment at Deaconess, I met and married my husband who was a pilot in the Air Force. We were transferred to MS where I went back to bedside nursing at an ambulatory short-stay surgery center.
My family moved back to Spokane in 1999, when I rejoined Deaconess in Radiation and Pediatric Oncology.
From there, I was hired to build the Pediatric Oncology Program as part of Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in 2002. I have also been responsible for management of several outpatient children's programs as well.
I completed my Masters in the Arts from Gonzaga University in Communication and Leadership in 2008.
