Kimberly is IENA's Community/Public Health Director.
Kimberly Parkey joined the IENA Board of Directors in November 2010, serving as Community/Public Health Director.
Kimberly graduated with a BSN from the Intercollegiate School of Nursing in 2007. She has been employed with the Spokane Regional Health District since graduating from nursing school; first as a Foster Care Public Health Nurse working with DCFS and then as a Public Health Nurse with the Nurse Family Partnership Program.
Previously, Kimberly worked in retail management as a Regional District Sales Manager for companies such as Best Form, Hang Ten, and Simply Cotton. However, nursing was always her true calling, so she returned to college a second time after starting a family.
Kimberly has lived in Spokane most of her life with brief stints in Oregon and Northern California. She attended Gonzaga Preparatory School and Central Valley High School.
She is married and has three school-age children, a son and two daughters. Kimberly also has a grown 22-year-old foster daughter who is currently taking prerequisite courses and plans on going into the medical field as a pediatric MD or nurse practitioner.
Kimberly looks forward to her first year of serving the IENA community.
