The following committees are always looking for dedicated members that would like to be involved for a limited amount of time in the functions of IENA.

Annual Nurses Celebration/Awards Ceremony Committee: The event generally held in May of each year; committee meets from January until the night of the event.

Scholarship/Awards Committee: Works in conjunction with the Nurses Celebration/Awards Ceremony. This committee usually meets 2-3 times before the event to choose the award winners and scholarship winner from a list of applicants.

Finance/Investment Committee: Meets on an as- needed basis to review the financial stability and investments of the association and make recommendations to the board for changes in the budget, investments, recording of assets etc.

Headquarters Committee: This committee meets on an as-needed basis and is responsible for overseeing the running of the IENA office, and the policies and procedures for the office and the Administrative Secretary

Nominations Committee: This committee meets in January to begin compiling a list of names for candidates to fill vacant board positions. The Nominations Committee works with the Administrative Secretary in finalizing the ballot and making arrangements to count ballots once are returned. The committee functions until elections are completed, the date for which is determined by the Board.

Legislative Reception Committee: This committee works from June till October to plan this event.
